Community Service Partners
The Blaine County Education Association is committed to giving back to the community of Blaine County that gives so much to the teachers and students in the Wood River Valley. Members of the BCEA participate in community service activities both in school with students and outside of school to model the importance of service to our students all year round. Below are just a few of the organizations the BCEA members have partnered with this year.
The Hunger Coalition strives to end hunger in our community by providing wholesome food to those in need and by promoting solutions to the underlying causes of hunger through collaboration, education and advocacy.
The Animal Shelter is a place where humans and animals can connect. Where that connection is honored and celebrated. Where people can find their new best friends and animals can find that place to call "home".
The Flourish Foundation is a social profit dedicated to promoting contemplative based practices in communities for the purpose of achieving mental balance and compassion. The heart of our work focuses on the human potential to be morally and ethically responsible world citizens.
