When: Wednesday, November 18, 2015
What: “Host Educator” volunteers needed
November 16 - 20, 2015, is American Education Week. As part of this celebration, the Blaine County School District (BCSD) and the Blaine County Education Association (BCEA) will be joining the National Education Association (NEA) and people nationwide in hosting an Educator for a Day event in which we invite local community leaders into our classrooms to experience the day as a teacher.
We are looking for volunteer "host educators" for the program, and encourage you to consider becoming a "host educator" for this important event. As a “host educator” you will be provided with information, guidance, and assistance every step of the way. As a "host educator," you will be helping to spread the word about the challenges and hard work school employees face every day in every classroom.
If interested, please contact the BCEA Action Team representative in your building by Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
